We have Ultrasound and Echocardiography at our practice.
We’ve always had – and still do have, for some cases – radiologists come to our practice to perform these diagnostic procedures. For more routine cases, or when a more direct route to an answer is needed, we have specially trained to capture the scans in our office while being assisted real-time by licensed sonographers, and then to have those images interpreted by Board-Certified Radiologists, Cardiologists, and Internists.
This system means we no longer have to wait for a radiologist when we need immediate answers to your pets health concerns. And, we are able to complete these scans at a cost slightly lower than what the radiologists charge. Good news for everyone!
The Golden Retriever Lifetime Study
We’re proud that Dr. Sara is a participating veterinarian in this ground-breaking multi-year study sponsored by the Morris Animal Foundation. This is the largest and longest observational research study ever initiated to improve the health of dogs.
If you own a dog already in the study and have just moved to our area, we are happy to work with you to maintain the integrity of the study data.
Training Classes in our office
Professional trainers from Wag and Train conduct puppy classes at our office on Tuesday evenings. Check out their web site at http://www.wagandtrain.com/pro...
Petly: Our Pet Portal
If we have your email address in our computer system, you should receive an invitation to Petly. This personal site of yours gives you reminder information for your pets as well as lab results and some portions of the medical records. You can request appointments and request refills from this site as well as send us messages.
Dr. Sara is the 2018 – 2019 President of the Kansas State University Veterinary Medical Alumni Association
She’s served on this board for the last 6 years, and has one more year to go after her term as President is complete. It’s her honor and privilege to serve the College in this capacity!
